Training Guide – Prevention of Violent Extremism (PVE)

This training guide is part of national and international efforts to prevent violent extremism. It adopts a comprehensive approach that integrates preventive, security, human rights–based, and developmental dimensions. Developed within the Tunisian context, the guide supports capacity-building for community and religious actors, in line with the national institutional framework led by the National Commission for Counterterrorism (CNLCT), with the aim of strengthening community resilience and promoting the sustainable prevention of violent extremism.

Study – Rationalizing Religious Discourse to Prevent Violent Extremism

This study examines the dynamics of the religious sphere in Tunisia from a violent extremism prevention perspective. It seeks to identify the strategic needs of religious actors, enhance their capacity for positive influence, and integrate the aspirations of the religious public into the development of a moderate, rational, and persuasive religious discourse. Conducted within the framework of the Takamul Project, the study proposes a balanced model between the supply and demand of religious discourse, contributing to peacebuilding and social cohesion.
